POONGLIM Pharmatech Co., Ltd. (CEO Cho Hee-min) participated in the 52nd Korea Electronics Show 2021 (KES 2021) held at COEX in Seoul from October 26 (Tue) to 29 (Fri) to showcase LDV products and medical devices, which are safe syringes.

POONGLIM Pharmatech is a pharmaceutical company such as various syringes and vials, and a company that manufactures, produces, and imports medical devices used in medical sites. The company, which started in 1979, established POONGLIM Pharmatech Corporation in 1999 and served as SCHOTT Schweiz AG's Korean agency in 2002.

It was certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in 2010, established a corporate research institute in 2014, and certified by CE in 2016, and was certified by the Sterile Needle FDA in 2018. POONGLIM Pharmatech launched a mask product in 2020, and in 2021, it was equipped with the completion of the Saemangeum plant along with LDV syringe and injection needle FDA-CE certification.

The safe syringe LDV Sterile Syringe is a product that has a luer lock coupling part of a screw line inside the top, and a three-stage conical plunger that narrows toward the inside of the outer barrel and a push stick that presses it. LDV has good transparency and high heat resistance, so it can be sterilized after filling with chemical solution.

The Luer-Lock structure is in accordance with the ISO standard and has the strength to be inferior to all injection needles. It has the advantage of enabling leakage and pop-off risk due to its excellent coupling force, and there is no LDV (low dead volume), that is, the minimum injection residual amount, which maximizes efficiency. In addition, the texture of the part where the force is applied with the thumb is circular and serves as anti-slip.

Meanwhile, the "Korea Electronics Exhibition (KES)," which marks its 52nd anniversary this year since it was first held in 1969, is a representative electronics and IT industry exhibition in Korea that has been with the history of the electronics and IT industries. Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Industry Promotion Association, the Korea Electronics Show not only opened the market for companies and expanded exports, but also created new businesses through networking and convergence in line with the disappearing industry boundaries.
